Driving to Las Vegas from Dallas is an 18 hour trip non stop, but of course not stopping is not possible, so it is near 20-ish hours. 

White Rock Lake is located in East Dallas and offers active and passive activities such as, walking, biking, kayaking, and picnicking.

The Bath House Cultural Center is located on the shores of White Rock Lake and is a welcomed venue for performing arts. The Art Deco-style Bath house contains a black-box theater, multiple galleries, and the White Rock Lake Museum. 

July 4th in Lakewood Dallas, TX. Fireworks provided by Lakewood Country Club as we sat on a random lawn. 

Wagon Wheel Tennis Center is a culmination of soccer fields and a tennis center. The flora offered itself as an interesting exploration with film and a juxtaposition between organic and man made. 

This is the site where Sam Houston camped while he negotiated a peace treaty with the local indians. Today the creek has been diverged to meander through the park while the spring for which the park was named still flows...
